Woodward Completes First Stage of Marketing SafetyAnalyst Software

Washington, DC — The Woodward Communications marketing team has completed the first stage of a five-year marketing campaign to launch a new safety software program, SafetyAnalyst.

The revolutionary new software program will enable transportation engineers at all levels of government to produce site-specific solutions to highway safety problems. The software analyzes data about highway locations with specific problems, and produces countermeasures aimed at solving the problems.

SafetyAnalyst will be unveiled Monday, January 13 at the annual conference of the Transportation Research Board here in Washington.

“We are thrilled to help launch a product which has great potential to help make the nation’s highways safer,” John Boffa, President of Woodward Communications, said.

The marketing work is being done under a five-year contract with the Midwest Research Institute in Kansas City.

The first phase of the marketing effort involved naming the software, and creating a brochure and web site to promote it.
