The 2007 National Field Conference will be held at the Albuquerque Marriott, 2101 Louisiana Blvd N.E., Albuquerque, NM 87110, (505) 881-6800 (http://marriott.com/property/propertypage/abqnm). Please contact the Marriott Albuquerque to book your room—reservations must be made by February 12, 2007. The government rate of $70.00 is available March 3-9, 2007.

This is a full-featured, non-smoking hotel, conveniently located near I-40, with complimentary on-site parking, great views from every room. You're only steps away from shopping, movie theatres, and restaurants, and minutes from the Albuquerque Sunport, Historic Old Town, and the Sandia Peak Tram.

All rooms are equipped with remote control TV, two phones, data port, desk lamp, voice mail, coffee makers, irons and ironing boards, and hair-dryers. Wired and wireless high-speed internet access is available in each room for a daily rate of $9.95 (this cost includes unlimited local and long distance phone calls within the U.S.). Public areas offer wired internet access, and meeting rooms offer wireless internet access.

The Albuquerque Marriott also offers indoor and outdoor pools, spa and fitness facilities, and proximity to all sorts of nearby activities, including walking/hiking trails, biking, golfing, tennis, volleyball, squash, skiing, and rock climbing. Participants must make their own arrangements to get to the hotel. A taxi ride from the airport to the hotel is approximately $20. The Sunport Shuttle (http://www.sunportshuttle.com) is also available for transportation to and from the airport. The cost is approximately $24 round trip, and $13 one-way.

Because the hotel is centrally located within walking distance of several cultural attractions and popular shopping destinations, a rental car is not necessary. A free shuttle is available within a 5-mile radius of the hotel. Participants who choose to rent a car will be responsible for the rental fee and related charges.
